Engagement shoot in St-Tropez | Riviera Beach

Emilie & Arnaud so in love

For Emilie and Arnaud’s engagement session, they chose one of the most beautiful seaside locations in France, St Tropez, not far from the famous Byblos, where you can get married. This wonderful village is the perfect place to get some passionate pictures of the love that Emilie and Arnaud share. I also tried to capture the old town in the background, and despite the grey skies the June heat was pleasant.

This was the very first time I had met the couple, and at first, they were not used to having their photos taken. But I stood back and didn’t direct them in any way, this allowed them to get comfortable, and very soon I started getting pictures of a couple who were in love and no longer afraid of the camera. Their friendly personalities where a great pleasure to capture and made the task of photographing a joy for me.

I documented through the camera their walk through the calm streets of St Tropez. In general posing around places that makes Provence so beautiful: An old port or a small stone wall. These pre-wedding photos will allow the couple to vividly remember their peaceful and romantic engagement session spent in this great little village.

If your dream is to get married in a Chateau… there is a treasure on the heights of St Tropez : La Messardière, where Laetitia Diat will give you a warm welcome. It’s an amazing place !
